Privacy Policy

Seeker Scout ("the app") works without an account, and most of it sends nothing about you. This policy lists exactly what the app sends to our server, what we keep, and why.

What we collect

We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell the data below, and we share it only with the service providers named under Third-party services. Our server runs on Cloudflare (Workers and D1 database).

• App-open counter: each launch sends an anonymous ping with the app's build number. Once a day it also says how many days ago the app was installed, as a range (for example "2-3" or "8-14"), and whether this is the app's first launch. It carries no account, wallet address, device identifier or install date. We use it to count daily opens and to see how long installs are kept.
• Owners' Lounge (optional): verifying your Seeker Genesis Token and claiming a Lounge number sends your wallet address, the Genesis Token's address and a message signed by your wallet. We store the wallet address, the token address, your Lounge number and the claim time.
• Members' chat (optional): messages you post are stored with your Lounge number and wallet address, and anyone can read them, in the app or from our server, with your Lounge number and the time you posted them (not your wallet address). A reply also stores which message it answers, and is shown with that message's Lounge number and a short quote of it (at most its first 100 characters), or with "Message hidden" once that message is hidden. Anyone can ask our server for the newest replies to a Lounge number, each with its writer's Lounge number, up to its first 100 characters and the time it was posted. Reactions are stored with your Lounge number. Reports are stored with the reporting wallet address.
• Replies to you: once the app knows your Lounge number (after you claim it or verify in the Lounge on this phone), it asks our server for new replies to your messages about once a minute while the app is open, to show how many there are on the Lounge tab. Each request sends your Lounge number and a message id marking the replies the app has already shown. Nothing new is stored on our server.
• Reply alerts (optional): off until you turn them on. When on, the app also checks in the background, at most once every 15 minutes, for new replies to your Lounge number, and shows a notification when there are any. Each check sends your Lounge number and a message id marking the replies the app has already shown or notified. Nothing new is stored on our server.
• Scout Daily games (optional): your guesses, picks and scores are stored with your Lounge number and wallet address. The public leaderboard shows Lounge numbers and scores, not wallet addresses.
• Scout Alpha (optional, paid): subscribing sends your wallet address, a signed message and the payment's transaction signature. We store the wallet address, the paid-until date and the transaction signatures, to check each payment is used once.
• Scout Vouch (optional): vouching for an app sends your wallet address, your Genesis Token's address, a message signed by your wallet, the app's package id, your verdict (works or broken), the tags you picked, your note and the time you signed. We store these with the signature, the time we received the vouch, the weight it counts with, the amount of staked SKR that weight was worked out from (empty if your stake could not be read) and the time of that read. A later vouch from the same wallet, or a later read of its stake (see SKR stake below), can update the weight and staked amount stored on its vouches. We also keep your wallet address with the time of your last vouch, to allow one vouch every 10 seconds. Notes cannot contain links. Your verdict counts in each app's public totals. These totals count Genesis Tokens and show no one's weight or stake. Weights are used to rank apps, so where an app with few vouches ranks can hint at how much SKR its vouchers stake. A note is shown publicly on the app's page with your verdict, your tags, the time of your vouch and your Lounge number if you claimed one, without any weight or stake. After you vouch, the app shows you your own weight and staked SKR. Anyone who knows your Genesis Token's address can look up which apps it vouched for and its verdict on each. While your wallet is connected, opening an app page sends your Genesis Token's address to our server so the app can show your own vouch.
• SKR stake (with Scout Vouch): each time you vouch, our server reads the SKR your wallet has staked in Solana Mobile's public staking program, through our RPC provider, or reuses a read of your wallet made in the last 60 seconds. Our server also reads again, through our RPC provider, the staked SKR of each wallet that has vouched, up to once an hour, whether or not it vouches again. Each read can raise or lower the weight and staked amount stored on that wallet's vouches. Staked SKR raises your voice from 1.00x up to 4.00x; SKR waiting to be unstaked does not count. If your wallet vouches with more than one Seeker Genesis Token, its stake is shared equally between them. A vouch whose stake read fails counts 1.00x until a later read of your stake succeeds. For each wallet we keep one stake record, replaced by each newer read: your wallet address, whether a stake was found, the amount staked, any amount waiting to be unstaked and when that unstake started, the staking program's cooldown period and share price at that time, the weight before sharing, the blockchain slot that was read and the time of the read. A read that fails is not kept in this record. We also keep your wallet address with the address of its stake account in the staking program, so it does not have to be worked out again.
• Blockchain checks: to share them fairly, our server counts them per minute: by Genesis Token for a wallet and token it has checked before, otherwise by your network address (an IPv6 address counts by its first half). Each counter is deleted at the first check that arrives more than two minutes after its minute.
• App catalog, banners, rewards lists, vouch totals and feature switches: the app downloads public data from our server. These requests contain no personal data.

Wallet addresses and transaction signatures are public on the Solana blockchain.

Your wallet

• Wallet connection (optional): the connection happens on your device through the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter. Your keys stay in your wallet; we do not see or store them.
• Genesis Token verification (optional): the app asks a public Solana RPC endpoint which tokens your wallet address holds. This is a read-only blockchain lookup, and the endpoint's operator sees your wallet address.
• SKR stake on your Profile (optional): while your wallet is connected, the Profile screen asks the public Solana RPC endpoint api.mainnet-beta.solana.com (the one the Genesis Token check uses) for your stake account in Solana Mobile's staking program (its address is worked out from your wallet address) and for the program's settings, to show your staked SKR, any SKR waiting to be unstaked and the vouch weight they give. This is a read-only blockchain lookup, and the endpoint's operator sees the lookup of your wallet's stake account. The app keeps the result only while it is open and does not send it to our server.

Data stored on your device

Your watchlist, your To try and "Not for me" lists, which chat messages the app counts as seen, preferences (including whether Reply alerts are on), the Lounge sign-in token (valid for about a day), your Lounge number and which replies to you the app has already shown or notified, the date the open counter last sent its daily install range, your last vouch for each app (the server's answer to it: verdict, tags, note, weight, staked SKR and Lounge number, stored with your Genesis Token's address so the app can show them back to you) and the last copy of the feature switches live only on your device, and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep Lounge, chat, game, vouch, SKR stake and Alpha records while those features run. You can ask us to delete the records linked to your wallet address by writing to the contact address below from a channel where you can show you control that wallet.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare (website, catalog, Lounge server and database): standard server logs may include IP addresses, retained briefly for security.
• Solana RPC providers (blockchain reads by the app, through api.mainnet-beta.solana.com, and by our server to check that a wallet holds its Genesis Token, to check Alpha payments and to read the SKR it has staked; each provider sees the lookups sent to it, which include your wallet address, your Genesis Token's address, your stake account's address and your Alpha payment's transaction signature).
• Your wallet app, through the Solana Mobile Wallet Adapter (signing only when you approve).

Children

The app does not target children.

We may update this policy as the app changes. Updates are posted at this URL with a new date.
